    Hi there,
My name is Marcee and I got engaged to the best man ever on May 18th 2011 @ 11:11pm, his name is Cheng Saechin. The reason 11:11 is so important to us is because we shared our first kiss @ 11:11 in the 7th grade. We met when my parents decided to change my kindergarten class from the afternoon to the morning. My kindergarten teacher chose a friend(Aleah) to be my show around buddy since I was new to the class. Then she asked me to choose someone to be an additional show around buddy. I most definitely pointed straight to Cheng, my teacher was surprised, but little did she know I was calling dibs on the man I would marry 17 years later!! As if its not awesome enough, we grew up on the very same road all of our childhood. The first time Cheng asked me to be his girlfriend was 5th grade. I said no about 3 times before I said yes! (I was obviously still scared of boys). We continued to date all throughout junior high and fortunately we lived on the same road for what seemed like forever. In junior high we went to various dances together one in particular sticks out because I won the Queen of the dance and I didn’t go get my crown because my baby was not the king. Dang I was committed so young. At the time it was terrible but we did brake things off right before high school. We had almost zero contact throughout high school, and then about 2 weeks after high school we saw each other at a friends house. It was pretty much history after that we were back to being inseparable!! Its been 6 years since we got back together, and it feels like we never skipped a beat <3 This is absolutely crazy to me because I am such a believer in "Everything happens for a reason." I am so happy to say that MY LOVE STORY is my absolute favorite! I know it sounds cliche but this is my testament that EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON!! Thanks for letting us share, so excited to hear other stories .:)

    Sincerely,

Marcee Rae soon to be SaechinReplyCancel

Hello :] My name is Heather an I’m engaged to Jared! We went to high school together all four years, but I never met him til his last year there when we had a class together. We became friends and a year later, he asked me to be his girlfriend! Things were just fun between us! We both love being in nature, we enjoy each others hobbies, and we have spent so much time together, that even our FAMILIES are inseparable! (Our families now spend holidays and vacations together!). Three years after dating, Jared planned a surprise trip to Yosemite for me (I had never been). He planned everything from our complete food menu, down to what I should wear. On our second day hiking, we rested by a creek and he proposed to me while sitting on a log over the creek. I cried and of course said yes! Both of our families and some friends knew his intentions of the trip and couldn’t be happier for us. Now, our wedding date is set for our 5th anniversary (July 13, 2013) and we are excited to take the next step in our life together. We even just purchased our first home together! We definitely had some tough times, but I wouldn’t change a thing. I couldn’t imagine my life without Jared!ReplyCancel

Joel and I met about four years ago playing beach volleyball with friends. He was playing on my best friend’s team and she quickly introduced us. I thought he was cute (and very good at volleyball) so I kept an eye on him all day. The next time we saw each other we talked and exchanged numbers. The rest is history. I quickly grew to love him, his friends and his family. On July 20, 2012 while vacationing in the British Virgin Islands, Joel proposed. We were sitting outside drinking wine and there was an incredible lightning storm happening. I honestly can’t remember exactly what he said, but I said YES! Just before he proposed my 7 year old godson snapped a photo of Joel holding the ring; the pic is blurry and off-centered, but nonetheless, my favorite picture to date! There is not a doubt in my mind I am marrying my best friend and the man of my dreams. I feel lucky and blessed and so excited!ReplyCancel
